Support from afar: NiceDay platform free to use for Ukrainian therapists

About 1 in 9 people in conflict situations has a moderate or severe mental disorder (source: WHO). The same goes for many Ukrainians: they need support during these times, but appointments with therapists can hardly occur because of the war and distance between therapist and client. That’s why NiceDay has worked on translating the app into Ukrainian, which is free to use for Ukrainian therapists so that they can continue to support their clients, even remotely.

From October 2022, 9 therapists will be trained to work on the Ukrainian version of the NiceDay platform, with which they will work daily from January 1, 2023. The app has been translated into Ukrainian thanks to a volunteer, to continue supporting clients remotely. This support is critical as war separates families.

Free availability during a humanitarian crisis

With NiceDay we want to contribute to supporting people with mental health problems in times of war and crisis. Many people have fled, families are separated from each other and people live in life-threatening circumstances every day. It is precisely then that it is essential that clients can turn to their therapist for support. That is why the NiceDay platform is free to use during any humanitarian crisis and the war in Ukraine is one of them.
